This game changer should start rolling out in the US Fall. The number of current Chromebooks that are compatible with Android apps is limited but all new Chromebooks should be OK. This will make Chromebooks and even more compelling alternative to Windows.

The Google top-of-the-line Pixel which runs Chrome OS now has a Pixel C cousin that is running Android! The rumours are increasing that Google is going to roll Chrome OS into Android but Google is denying it, saying that the two will run side by side!
New features include Doze Mode (which apparently reduces battery drain significantly), Google Now on Tap and a new Permissions system.
Still feel silly talking to Google Now even if it is quite effective!
